Established in 2018, Shetland Sound & Light provides professional sound & lighting rentals & installations, event production and venue styling services throughout Shetland.
We support weddings, live music, community events, corporate functions and private celebrations with reliable equipment, technical expertise and a personal approach.
The business is owned and operated by Roger Foote, who has been involved in audio and event production for more than 20 years. From building his first loudspeakers in the late 1990s to designing and operating sound systems for a wide range of events, Roger has developed extensive practical experience in delivering

Over the years, Shetland Sound & Light has expanded beyond traditional sound and lighting hire to offer wedding venue dressing, decorative lighting, photo booth hire, starlight backdrops, pipe and drape systems, traditional Shetland wedding post boxes, PAT testing and technical event support.

Roger has called Shetland home since 2007 and is based in Weisdale on the Westside. Many events are supported by his partner Joan, helping to ensure clients receive a personal and dependable service from initial enquiry through to event completion.
